Every December, Canje celebrates the Caribbean with our annual Island Party, a one-night event dedicated to the food, music, culture, and energy of a featured island or country. Past celebrations have highlighted Jamaica, Trinidad, and Puerto Rico.

This year, in honor of Canje’s five-year anniversary, we’re bringing the celebration home to Guyana. The evening will showcase the country’s unique mix of cultures and traditions through food, music, cocktails, and plenty of dancing.

Joining the Canje team will be Guyanese guest chef Althea Brown, known as @metemgee, for a special collaboration celebrating Guyanese flavors and dishes. For the night, the Canje kitchen will transform into a food-truck-style experience, with guests enjoying food throughout the evening alongside a DJ, dancing, and signature cocktails available through drink tickets.

The Island Party is a free-entry designed to feel energetic, communal, and celebratory—a true Canje party and a celebration of five years together.
